Year-Round Medical Clinics
Lazarus Momentum currently supports two full time medical clinics that provide medical care to rural Uganda residents who do not have access to or cannot afford healthcare. Dr. Namutebi Roy is our medical director and oversees the healthcare at our clinics in Uganda. Thanks to our generous supporters, we provide financial support to pay for healthcare workers and medicine each month for all clinics.
Masaka, Uganda:
The first full time medical clinic that Lazarus Momentum supports on a monthly basis is at Kids Care school and Timothy House orphanage in Masaka, Uganda. It not only provides healthcare for the children at Kids Kare and Timothy House, but as of November 1, 2019 also provides services to all the residents in the area. We are honored to be able to provide monthly financial support for Dr. Mutagubya Nicholas and Dr. Wamala Victoria as they care for those who would otherwise have no access to healthcare. Lazarus Momentum also sends money each month to purchase medicine.
Sanje, Uganda:
The second full time medical clinic that Lazarus Momentum supports on a monthly basis is at Shalome Medical Clinic in Ssanje, Uganda. Shalome Medical Clinic is a small hospital built by Imagine Acts Ministry for Dr. Nameutebi Roy and Dr. Dan. We are honored to be able to provide monthly financial support for Dr. Namutebi Roy and for medical supplies as she provides healthcare services to those in need in Ssenje.
Bukavu, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC):
The third full time medical clinic that Lazarus Momentum supports on a monthly basis is at Centre Mwabana (CMWA) in Bukavu, DRCS. CMWA was started by “My Child and Me”, a nonprofit that cares for abused and abandoned women and their children. We are honored to be able to provide monthly financial support for Neema Byalungwe Nelly, M.D. and for medical supplies as she provides healthcare services to those that society and family have abandoned in Bukavu, DRC .
Lazarus Momentum, Inc. is funded by contributions from the participants of the “Medical Outreach Missions”, and from generous contributions from friends, family, and the general public. 100% of all funds donated to Lazarus Momentum are used for the benefit of our outreach program recipients and not to pay founders salaries or their trip expenses. All Medical Mission participants pay their own way or raise their own funds. Money donated for a specific purpose will be used for that purpose.
