Mary Sue Rich and Elizabeth Meeks, in conjunction with the Christ United Methodist Church in Shreveport, Louisiana, have provided "Days For Girls" hygiene kits for the young ladies at local orphanages in Masaka, Uganda.
Days for Girls International is a grassroots non-profit organization creating a more dignified, humane and sustainable world for girls through advocacy, reproductive health awareness, education, and sustainable feminine hygiene, because no girl should have to go without. One in ten girls in Sub-Saharan Africa misses school during her menstrual period, or drops out because of it.
Thank you Mary Rich and Elizabeth Meeks for helping us care for the Ugandan orphans.
