Medical Education:
Due to generous contributions from Pat Joffrion, RN and friends, Lazarus Momentum was able to pay tuition and living expenses for Tamale Ibrahim, M.D. to enable him to concentrate and finish his education. Dr Ibrahim has agreed to work in one of our existing medical clinics, or medical medical outreaches, for two years and then will be returning to Nakasongola, Uganda, his home town, to start a medical clinic. We will be providing funds to help the clinic get established, and to purchase the needed medical supplies, equipment, and medicine.
Vocational Education:
In 2022 Lazarus Momentum purchased two sewing machines and hired a tutor to teach students how to sew.
In the future, Lazarus Momentum will also help provide opportunities to rural Ugandan residents to attend vocation schools. In Uganda, good grades alone do not provide students with education opportunities. They do not have access to government backed student loans and are dependent on family, friends, or others for tuition to attend.
Lazarus Momentum, Inc. is funded by contributions from the participants of the “Medical Outreach Missions”, and from generous contributions from friends, family, and the general public. 100% of all funds donated to Lazarus Momentum are used for the benefit of our outreach program recipients and not to pay founders salaries or their trip expenses. All Medical Mission participants pay their own way or raise their own funds. Money donated for a specific purpose will be used for that purpose.
