Mobile Medical Outreach

Doctors and nurses traveling into remote villages that lack healthcare access and transportation.

Overview

Many communities in Uganda and DRC are hours from the nearest clinic, with no vehicle to get there. Mobile outreach brings the clinic to them — by motorcycle, on foot, and across difficult terrain — serving children, the elderly, and abused and abandoned women who cannot travel for care.

Masaka, Uganda

A three-wheeled motorcycle carries Dr. Mutagubya Nicholas and medical supplies to remote villages around Masaka. Monthly support covers the doctor and medicine.

Ssanje, Uganda

A two-wheeled motorcycle carries Dr. Namutebi Roy to Ssenge and surrounding remote areas. Monthly donors fund the outreach.

Walungu & Idjwi Island, DRC

Neema Byalungwe Nelly, MD travels from the Bukavu clinic to Walungu village and to three pygmy villages on Idjwi Island in Lake Kivu.
